Wow, that was a long break from posting. I've had my head down finishing some pattern drafting, Cee Cee has had the busiest term yet at school and Miss Wink has been just too cute. So.... I haven't had the time to put much up here.
There has been some activity though! I spied the pattern for these circley-grannies over at Jellywares and have been working on them every now and then as a bit of crafting-in-front-of-the-TV type therapy. I think they've got a much more modern vibe than your standard granny and really love working the circle into a square.
I think I might make just enough of these for a cushion cover or a cot blanket. As a crochet newbie, I've got to say I'm dreading the bit where you have to sew the squares together! Is it as bad as I'm thinking?
These look great!!!! I love the colour combo that you went with and son't worry, sewing together isn't as daunting as it sounds...

i have discovered the join as you go method which completely takes the pain out of the whole process, there are quite a few tutorials on how to do this, just ask mr. google. i love the colours you are using, they look fantastic, love your chair too.

very pretty!!!!!! I'm more of a crochet as you go in one big blanket because of my issues with sewing together! but that's me, I just put it off!

Your crochet looks lovely - what delicious colours you are using. Sewing them together is best when done in front of a long movie!
