I've always been a bit of a shoe fanatic as I'm sure many of you are also. Clothes, not so much: too frequently they need to be altered to fit my petite (a.k.a. short) frame.... But shoes, aah!, the ultimate instant purchase gratification!
Anyway, somewhere during 2008 I had the urge to make some little shoes of the decorative variety. As our household (and in particular, one excited toddler) was in the full grip of ballet fever at the time, these felt and fabric ballet slipper charms were the result.
We made a few pairs to decorate ballet bags and to give as gifts.
It took a while to get the template and instructions down on paper but here they are now: Download Wink_tinydancer. Drop me a line or send me a link if you make some yourselves, I'd love to see them! (I'm new to this PDF file upload thing, so let me know if you have any problems accessing the pattern and I'll email it to you....)
I hope you have all shuffled, tapped and leaped your way into 2009 with gusto. Looking forward to sharing much more craftiness with you this year....
That is ADORABLE! And I love the fabric you found for the bag, what a cute combo! I'll be linking to this darling project.

Marina those are gorgeous! I'd love to whip those up for some little ballerinas. My own little ballerina hung up her slippers and her violin and replaced them with boots and an electric guitar - she's only just 7! Perhaps her big brother has had too much influence :)

My daughter took ballet lessons when was five up until her teens. I made a collage of pictures of her younger years in ballet school in a shadow box for her birthday. It turned out beautiful. Thanks for the free download of the ballet slippers! I plan to do something extra special for her with the ballet slippers pattern. I would like to know where you found the material for the bags underneath the ballet slippers photo.

In the beautiful seasons of spring and autumn riding a bicycle to travel and appreciate the natural views is a wonderful experience.

Great site. I like the way you explain everything without using complicated terms.

"Once the moment has finally come when the curtain falls for good, when my eyesight disappears and my eyes are closed for eternal rest, the pulled-down eyelid will reveal as a last, surprising theatrical coup the final punch line, in my view quite memorable: the “Last Picture Show”, presented with a weeping and a laughing eye, with a wink, the final performance of a life and a life performance intended to be spectacular and dramatic." Timm Ulrichs [15][16] For his work portfolio standard international designs from samples and reference books of the tattoo artist, 1974, Timm Ulrichs also took images of Kohrs. A selection of them were in 1975 by the Kestnergesellschaft — art galery Hannover as screen printing, (1-100/100 limited, signed, dated and numbered 60 x 60 cm.) released.[17] In the years 1977 to 1981 created Kohrs -at the Kunstverein Hannover- some individual projects with the topic of tattoos.[18]From 1978 Kohrs drew cartoons for various magazines.

People who live in cold climates prefer to use warm colours to give their homes a warm and comfortable feel.

I really like when people are expressing their opinion and thought. So I like the way you are writing.
