Well, I didn't quite manage to keep up the momentum I had earlier in the week. Consequently, the shorts I had planned for the big girl haven't yet been made. Still on the list though.
The dress below is another one I prepared earlier. Simple, easy to pull on, comfy and a great go-to dress for preschool and park outings. I made it using the The "Butterfly Breeze" pattern which seems to work just as well with knit fabrics as it does with wovens.
(Hop over here to book in for the last spots in a Peasant Dress workshop based on this pattern tomorrow - Tuesday 29 October - at Sew Make Create.)
The fabric is a remnant from a stretch skirt I made for myself here. Add doily and voila!
Can you believe the lovely yellow Saltwaters from the photo below have since been stolen while the girls were playing on the beach? Stealing little kids' shoes? Honestly?
We've replaced them with more yellow sandals (here) because I loved the colour so much.
Have a great week everyone!
