Finished......

The skirt I started at The Craft Room is now complete and ready for some wintertime frolicking.

I love the rich colour of the Featherwale Cord (they call it "Cashmere") which I ordered from here. The printed cotton is from Spotlight.

Random facts about cord: did you know that with corduroy, the "wale" refers to the number of cord "stripes" per inch? The finer cords used for childrenswear generally have a higher wale. The one above is "28 wale" and has a particularly soft and buttery feel.

What a pretty skirt! The cotton band around the hem is the perfect finishing touch! Your "Nesting Instinct" project is gorgeous.
